Dog Photography for Your Wedding Day:
Cumbria & The Lake District

A Tail and Two People: because your dog deserves to be a part of the story.

But Why Hire a Dog Photographer on Your Wedding Day?

Wedding photographers are incredible at what they do, capturing the emotion of a ceremony and the atmosphere of the most incredible day of your lives that goes by far too quickly. However, more and more couples are now including their most important four-legged family members in that day, and it's easy to see why. In fact, you’re probably here right now because you are thinking to do the same.

But dogs are a completely different subject to the people at your wedding. Getting a truly magnificent image of a dog, both alone and with the people they love most (that’s you!), requires a totally different skill set, and someone who understands them in their own right. Someone with endless patience, instinct, and years of experience working with dogs to bring out the very best in them.

That someone is me.

Please note: I am not a wedding photographer and I'm not here to replace one. I work quietly in addition to your existing photography team, focused entirely on your dog and never getting in the way. Think of me as a specialist addition to your day rather than an alternative to your wedding photographer.

What Happens After You Reach Out

Let's Talk

1

Once you enquire, we'll schedule a consultation call to talk about your dog, your venue, your wedding day schedule and what you're hoping to create. This is where I get to know your dog before I've even met them and find out if you’re using a dog chaperone so I can liaise with them.

The Big Day

2

I arrive ahead of the ceremony, liaise with your dog chaperone (or dedicated dog family member) and spend three hours focused entirely on your dog. I will capture posed shots of them alone, candid moments during the ceremony, and some group portraits of you the happy couple with them too.

The Reveal

3

Around ~4 weeks after your wedding day, we meet in person or via Zoom to view your images together for the first time. I'll guide you through the gallery and help you choose the artwork that's right for your home.

Your Artwork

4

Your finished fine art pieces are created and delivered: wall art or a print collection you'll treasure for the rest of your lives, and long after.
