Turn Your Best Friend’s Story into Artwork
Because the animals we love deserve to live forever:
Award-winning dog photography and bespoke equine portraiture across Cumbria & Northumberland
I hear from a lot of people who say their animals are getting older and they want to capture them while they still can. When you feel that shift coming, you suddenly realise how much they mean to you and how impossible it is to put that into words. It rarely shows up in the quick photos we take on our phones.
A bespoke portrait session gives you the space to pause and appreciate them as they are right now. The experience is calm and unhurried, focused on their character and the bond you share. The result is artwork that holds their presence in your home long after the moment has passed: images that often show you something new about your dog or horse while staying completely true to who they've always been.
These sessions are about capturing the personality and presence of your dog or horse in a way that feels natural and true. I guide things gently so we create the space for authentic moments, not just cross our fingers. The aim is artwork that reflects who they really are. And if you'd like to be in some of the images, even better

On the day of the shoot she made sure all four of the dogs were happy with everything and I could tell she had the dogs best interests at heart over the chance of a great shot! All of our dogs are quite relaxed but Frankie continually made sure that they were relaxed in the situation.
We are so pleased with the final result and will cherish the photographs, especially as one of our lads is in his twilight years. -

I have a rescue dog who is apprehensive about new people and I didn't want to overwhelm him on the photo shoot. I didn't need to worry as Frankie is very aware and knowledgeable about dogs and put both me and Tex at ease.
The shoot was fun and easy to follow with no pressure at all. -

What a wonderful experience from start to finish. Frankie is a lovely lady and so enthusiastic about what she does and it really shows in her work. She is very calm and caring around the dogs and is in tune to their needs. It’s been a joy. The pictures and products are sensational and yes, I cried many happy tears when I received my finished piece!

Dogs and horses from the same household are always welcome. If you have multiple animals, I’ll shape the session so it works smoothly for everyone.

Absolutely. If you want to be part of the images, we’ll create something that feels natural and true to your connection.

That’s completely fine. Most of the dogs I photograph stay on lead, and I remove the lead in post-production.

Online or in person, whichever feels easier for you. This is where you’ll see your images and choose your artwork. However, I always recommend in person so you can see artwork samples!
